About Leslie McCray
Hi I'm Leslie and I create Sweater Heads hats and accessories. I use only reclaimed fabrics and take pride in my patterns and designs. I strive to bring you a high quality item that you will use and love for years. I live in the beautiful coastal town of Astoria Oregon.
My passion is for sewing, recycling and making people feel beautiful inside and out. I have been sewing all of my life and making hats seasonally since 1994. When I moved to Oregon from Montana I started selling every other weekend at Astoria's Sunday Market. It went so well that I made it my full time business in 2005.
So now I travel to many art shows and festivals around the pacific northwest, still do the Sunday Market when I'm in town and coming soon... will be selling my pieces in my online store.
I believe we need to be thoughtful in our purchases and in what we discard. Reduce, reuse, recycle, rethink, be kind.
